Another weekend is upon us! Thankfully the weather won't be as cold as it was earlier this week, but there is mention of possible rain - great for the spring wildflowers, but not that much fun to be out in. However, these events & happenings may be worth the venture out...

1) Wine & Chocolate pair really well together. This weekend and next you can enjoy tastings of both at all 3 of our Washington County wineries. Tickets must be purchased online - $30 for one, $50 for a pair. Each ticket purchased is good at all 7 Bluebonnet Trail Wineries over both weekends. Get Tickets

2) Live music can be enjoyed at various locations either Friday or Saturday night.

3) Copper Shade Tree is a lovely art gallery in Round Top. This Saturday night they are hosting an artist reception for "Art in Fiber 2014" from 2-5pm. The art exhibit will be on display from Feb 1 to Mar 2 during business hours.

4) CASA For Kids is hosting their annual Casino Night on Saturday from 6-10pm at Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville (just 15 mins south of Brenham). This is a fundraiser for the CASA for Kids program - tickets are $60 at the door. More Details

5) Visit one of our museums! If it's raining, this is a good indoor activity to get you out of the rain and teach you a thing or two. :-)
