The last weekend of September and cooler temps brings promises of Fall just around the corner. When you think of Fall in Washington County you might think of nearby Antiques in Round Top, or the corn maze & pumpkin patch, or scarecrows in Chappell Hill. 4) Pick cotton! Washington on the Brazos is open to the public for cotton pickin' at Barrington Living History Farm. Learn about Texas history and life in the 1800s as you pick cotton the old fashioned way.
5) Eat ice cream! You can get a delicious (and big) scoop of ice cream straight from the source, Blue Bell Creameries, 6 days a week! Mon-Fri you can enjoy tours, with a scoop included at the end.
